Ezekiel 11 – Pastor Mac Daily DEVO

And I told the exiles all the things that the Lord had shown me. Ezekiel 11:25 – The prophet had just received from the Lord an extensive and intense vision about the future for God’s people. He learned about secrets sins taking place, he learned which of their leaders where false, and he learned about the hardened state of many of the people in Israel. Many of the words the Israelite leaders were telling the people to believe were contrary to what Ezekiel had just received from the Lord. So what did Ezekiel do after the vision was over? He told the people everything he saw. God revealed much to him and he then revealed to the people what had been shown to him. While this seems like the natural response, how often is it our natural response? God has opened our eyes to the truth just like He did for Ezekiel. Those who are believers see the deception behind sin, we see the falseness of those trying to lead us astray, and we know firsthand what a hardened to God heart feels like because we too once were there. Through Christ the truth about so much of this life has been revealed to us, and while the natural response would be to share all that with those who don’t know, are we sharing? Are we opening people’s eyes to the deception of sin? Are we calling out false teaching when it’s made? Are we even praying for hearts of stone to be made into hearts of flesh (hearts ready to receive God’s grace)? The natural response to being blessed with all this knowledge would be to share it, so let’s make sure we’re doing just that. People are being duped by the enemy constantly when we have the message that pulls the curtain on all the enemy’s deceptions. Get out there and share! I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 3564

Question To Ponder: Who is someone you know that once had a heart of stone towards the Lord but now is a follower of Jesus?
