Psalm – Chapter 93

  • Your throne is established from of old; you are from everlasting. Psalms 93:2 – God has been in charge and on top since the beginning and there is no chance of His placement changing. Know there is no “second place” that is closing in on Him and challenging His position. God isn’t fearful of anyone or anything displacing Him for His place as God of all things. His throne isn’t going anywhere. Yet while His position never changes, we can choose to not give Him the honor within our lives that He deserves. God does reign over all, let Him then reign over all of you. Be a part of the kingdom that will last forever. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 1156
  • The floods have lifted up, O Lord, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their roaring. Mightier than the thunders of many waters, mightier than the waves of the sea, the Lord on high is mighty! Psalm 93:3-4 – The floods spoken of are the powerful forces that come against us in life. This could be an enemy, an oppressive health issue, a fractured relationship, or even destructive mindset. Just like a raging flood coming your way these things can look unstoppable and the destruction they are about to cause will be irreparable. Yet, One who is mightier than the waves steps in. This is Jesus, the Lord most high. I know this truth is so difficult to believe when you see the water coming and you’re waist high in the flood. Jesus though is more powerful than the flood. Jesus is mightier than the force coming against you, know matter how powerful it may be. Whatever damage has already been made Jesus can still create something new and beautiful from it. Remember if God can renew a planet after a worldwide flood, He can bring life in your story even if there is a flood coming your way. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 2053
