- But God shoots his arrow at them; they are wounded suddenly. Psalms 64:7 – The enemy fights, but God fights back. Not only does He fight back, but He wins the match every single time. That’s the God who is with you and for you. Sure we have an enemy who is strong, but we have a God who’s stronger. Sure the enemy has power, but God has more. Remember what side we are on. We’re not on the losing side if we’re with Jesus. Scripture says we are more than conquerors through Christ. Let’s never forget that the God we worship fights for us against our enemy. That’s why we can walk in confidence rather than fear. So however the enemy is attacking you know God is bigger. God’s bigger than your fears, worries, struggles, sins, past, and doubts. How do you then need to reshape today how you see God? Thanks for walking with me through scripture these past thousand days, looking forward to another thousand! - Hide me from the secret plots of the wicked, from the throng of evildoers…Psalm 64:2 – Let me encourage you, your enemy is plotting against you in secret and you’ll have no clue how, when, and from where the attack is going to come. I know, so encouraging! While that message may not uplift your heart, know this, while what your enemy is doing is secret to us, it’s not secret to God. We don’t know how he’ll attack, but God does. We don’t know when the attack will come, but God does. We don’t know from where it will originate, but God does. And with all this knowledge God is able to protect us from such attacks. He can be our shelter and our refuge when under fire because He knows where the fire is coming from and the sort of protection we truly need. So don’t let the lack of knowledge on your end about the enemy’s plans debilitate you from moving forward. Trust God is fully aware and full ready to take care of you every step you take.
