LUKE

Chapter 1

And the child grew and became strong in spirit, and he was in the wilderness until the day of his public appearance to Israel. Luke 1:80 – For John the wilderness was a place he grew spiritually; for Jesus we know the wilderness as a place of his biggest temptations. See here that it’s not the place, but what we bring into the place that can make a spot sinful. A church can be filled with the sin of unforgiveness and pride while a prison can become a place of true worship. So what are you bringing with you into the places you go? Are you allowing sin to rule in those areas or God? Is your home, workplace, school, and church a place where you grow spiritually or bath in sin? Make sure you know what your carrying into each place. And like with Jesus in the wilderness, while He didn’t carry the temptations in with Him, He carried His Father’s Word into the wilderness to handle what was going to be there. …for he will be great before the Lord. And he must not drink wine or strong drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother’s womb…Luke 1:15 – As I read over Luke chapter 1 this morning for our devotion, something I couldn’t help but notice was the Holy Spirit’s role in everything that happened surrounding Jesus’ birth. Here we see John the Baptist being filled with the Holy Spirit even in the womb. In verse 35 the Holy Spirit would come upon Mary. In verse 41 the Holy Spirit would come upon Elizabeth. In verse 67 the Holy Spirit would come upon Zechariah. The Holy Spirit would bring life to barren wombs. He would cause even the unborn baby in the womb to leap for joy at the presence of our Savior. The Holy Spirit would fuel praise of our God and gives words for the prophecies spoken in our chapter. Without the Holy Spirit’s work, none of this would have taken place. Without the Spirit of the Lord filling, overshadowing, and moving nothing we see take place in this vital time would have happened. We wouldn’t have had prophecies fulfilled. We would have John preparing the way and hearts for Jesus. We wouldn’t have had Jesus come into our world. The power and the movements we see take place in scripture were being done by the hand and Spirit of the Lord. As we continue to walk through Holy Week together, remember the only reason we have life, peace, and hope is because of the hand and Spirit of the Lord. We are able to exist in this eternal life because of what God did for us. We are secure in our salvation because of the Spirit. We have life because of Jesus. Let’s praise the Lord for how the Spirit moved in the days of Luke 1 so we could exist in the life we have now with Jesus. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 2318

Chapter 2

And at the end of eight days, when he was circumcised, he was called Jesus, the name given by the angel before he was conceived in the womb. Luke 2:21 – I love how we see the working of God here that even before Jesus was conceived He was known and named. God knew the same for you. You are not a mistake or an accident. God was well aware that you were going to be a part of this story of His and He knows you better than you even know yourself. Today remind yourself that God has always loved you even before you were conceived and His love for you will never stop. You were meant to be here today. I love you, but Jesus loves you more  – Mac – Daily DEVO 607

In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered. Luke 2:1 – We get the privilege of reading the story of Christ’s birth, a special and unique passage to read during Holy Week. We see from our verse that in the days surrounding the birth of Christ that the entire population of the Roman world was to be counted. Meaning many would have to uproot themselves for a season and possibly travel long distances. We know though all this was to fulfill the prophesy of Jesus being born in the city of David and to help give that assurance to all that this baby was the Messiah. Think though of all that were impacted by this census that God used to fulfill His word surrounding His Messiah. Thousands would have had to travel and leave their homes to be registered; and God used it to fulfill His prophesies. What we see here is that sometimes God will move in grand ways for a very specific purpose. He was establishing His Messiah, yet in order to do that the whole world at that time was to be involved. You too may find yourself in the wake of a grand move of God. Where God is uprooting people, moving mountains, or changing seasons. This process isn’t always quiet and isn’t without being felt by many. All this may be for a very specific, pointed reason God has. When He moves in these grand ways, when these intense changes take place, and we feel all the impact of these changes, we must grow to trust God in all this…especially when we aren’t the reason for the changes. Meaning may feel the massive wake of what God is doing in someone else’s life. Meaning we may have to walk through a lot of difficulty and change simply because God was moving on behalf of someone else. Know in those seasons God still sees you and sees the way you are being impacted. While He is working in their life, your life is still in His hands too. Even in the wake of God’s movements, you are still going to be well cared for by Him. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 2319

Chapter 3

As it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet, “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be made low, and the crooked shall become straight, and the rough places shall become level ways, and all flesh shall see the salvation of God.’” Luke 3:4-6 – How has God prepared the way for you to share His good news message? What mountains has He leveled and valleys has He filled in order for you to share His message like He’s called you to do? Has He removed fears? Has He blessed you with relationships? Has He given you access to His Word to learn? If so, let’s ask ourselves a question. If God has made our paths this straight to share His love and live for Him, why are we not much of the time? Look today at how God has made it possible for you to share His love and take advantage today of the paths He has made. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 608

And the crowds asked him, “What then shall we do?” 11 And he answered them, “Whoever has two tunics is to share with him who has none, and whoever has food is to do likewise.” 12 Tax collectors also came to be baptized and said to him, “Teacher, what shall we do?” 13 And he said to them, “Collect no more than you are authorized to do.” 14 Soldiers also asked him, “And we, what shall we do?” And he said to them, “Do not extort money from anyone by threats or by false accusation, and be content with your wages.” Luke 3:10-14 – So many were coming to John, and as we see here, they were coming for more than baptism. They were coming for direction now on how to properly live their lives for the Lord. Common people, tax collectors, and even soldiers were coming seeking to discover how to live faithfully for the Lord. Notice with each group John had a direction to give them and didn’t push away their seeking hearts. This reveals to us that whatever position we may find ourselves in there is a way to live holy and obedient to the Lord within it. You don’t have to be an overseas missionary or work in an orphanage to faithfully follow the Lord with your life (note both of those would be amazing places for you to serve in though!). If you are an accountant, teacher, stay-at-home mom, leader, or grandpa, God has made it clear not only is there way for us to live faithfully for Him in those roles, there is an expectation of it. Pray, read scripture, and discover how in your unique role and season of life you can live this blessing of life out best for Jesus. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 2320

Chapter 4

And when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from him until an opportune time. Luke 4:13 – So we have recorded three times Jesus was tempted in this story, but according to this verse Jesus could have been tempted many more times and in many more ways than were written down. And we also see just because the devil left then, he had plans to return and tempt even more. While this can seems scary to think about happening in our life just remember if Jesus could withstand the constant temptations in the wilderness, He can help you withstand your temptations too. Don’t forget Jesus is always with you and the power we see in scripture He still has to the fullest. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 609

And he began to say to them, “Today this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.” Luke 4:21 – Jesus is in the beginning stages of His public ministry and is revealing His powers and authority in many ways. One way was stepping into the synagogue of His hometown and reading scripture for them…then proclaiming the words above. Scripture had been fulfilled in Him that day. Their Savior had come and their liberty was to be found in Him. As we can see, the interaction didn’t end well for Jesus that day, nor did the continuation of such proclamations for it eventually found Him on the cross. As we though settle into Holy Week, these words of Jesus today hit home for me. Scripture has been fulfilled today and they have been fulfilled in Jesus. When on the cross Jesus said “It is finished,” we finally get a fulfillment of the entire law, a fulfillment of the atonement needed for our salvation, and we get a fulfillment of the whole of prophecies surrounding the Messiah in Jesus. We today know that even the prophesies surrounding the resurrection have as well been fulfilled in Jesus. Walk today knowing that what needed to be taken care of and fulfilled in order for you to have life, forgiveness, grace, and salvation has been taken care of and fulfilled. This is why we celebrate Easter. Today, scripture has been fulfilled in our midst, and the end result is eternal life with God the Father…and it’s all because of Jesus. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 2321

Chapter 5

And the Pharisees and their scribes grumbled at his disciples, saying, “Why do you eat and drink with tax collectors and sinners?” Luke 5:30 – Don’t listen to the “Pharisees” at church. They may have been in church their whole life, they may seems to know the ins and outs of the Bible, they may even seem to have never sinned since birth, but they don’t have a clue as to what the heart of Jesus really is about. Jesus is about forgiveness, love, and restoration. He is about us turning from a life that’s going against Him to walking with Him. Know there will be people that will come against you and try to shred your faithful walk with God, and unfortunately, many times it will be people even in your own church that do the tearing. Just remember church is a place where broken people find healing and everyone, even those who seems to have it all together and use their words to hurt people, need healing too. Walking with God is never without hurdles, but it’s all worth it. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 610

And no one after drinking old wine desires new, for he says, ‘The old is good.’ Luke 5:39 – I’ll upfront say there is a few ways this verse that is only found in Luke’s gospel account is understood by commentators, but I’ll do my best to explain what I believe is being said. Jesus just finished speaking with the religious teachers of the day sharing with them how His new gospel message wasn’t going to fit into their old, ridged, rabbinic traditions they held to so tightly. Jesus wasn’t speaking of the Old Testament law which was holy and good for He and His message fulfilled that law, but Jesus was speaking of laws the religious teachers of the day instituted and the strict adherence to such laws. In verse 39 Jesus expresses how difficult it will be for those used to the “old wine,” the traditions and strictness, to embrace the gospel Jesus was sharing. As we lean then into Good Friday today, understand there is a new wine of a gospel that has been poured into our story because of what Jesus did on the cross. A message of freedom from shame and guilt and a covering of all our wrongs. While we may not be holding fast to the rabbinic laws like those in Luke 5, we can hold fast to our own “old wines.” We can choose to see ourselves in ways we always have, yet those ways conflict with the words of Jesus. We can continue to believe we are in ultimate control of our life even when that conflicts with the words of Jesus. We can cherish our old ways and dismiss the words of the gospel of Jesus. For myself, I pray that my attachments to the old ways of my life are nailed to the cross. I want to desire the new the Jesus is offering. Are you today content with the old wine of your life or are you embracing the new wine that comes with a life following Jesus? I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 2322

Chapter 6

But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you. Luke 6:27-28 – Live under the idea that “You can not do enough to me to get me to stop loving you.” Sadly, there will be people who hate you, trash your reputation, and try to discourage you. That though doesn’t give us any excuse to begin to shift our love for them to hate for them. We may not like what they are doing to us, but we are called to love them still. Of course this isn’t easy, that’s why this type of life is what sets us apart as followers of Jesus. When you come across then your next hater, remember, they can’t do anything to get you to stop loving them because you know what you’re called to do. Begin to step into this mindset. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 611

“Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you?” Luke 6:46 – This is a powerful chapter of Jesus’ teaching given to His many followers at this time. We see laid out here in this final section of the chapter a real, and quite pointed, question being asked by Jesus. Why are you calling me “Lord” when you don’t do what I tell you to do? When we give someone that title in our life, they have authority over us and have the right to give commands and expect them to be followed by us. We then who follow Jesus are proclaiming Him to be our Lord, the one who is over us and has the voice of authority in our story. Jesus is also speaking clearly and giving commands to His followers. Go and make disciples, love your enemies, pray for those who come against you, be holy. These are the words from our Lord, yet are we doing what our Lord is telling us to do? Today we are in the Saturday of Holy Week, meaning this is the day our Savior and Lord was in the grave after dying for our sins. Even without the events of Easter Jesus was worthy of being called our Lord, but He still came and died for us. He is more than worthy of our following. Let’s then be willing to fully follow the voice of our Lord Jesus. What He speaks we’ll follow and when He speaks we’ll move. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 2323

Chapter 7

One of the Pharisees asked him to eat with him, and he went into the Pharisee’s house and reclined at table. Luke 7:36 – Jesus comes when invited. Maybe it’s to a centurion’s home, maybe even a Pharisee’s house, or maybe it’s even into your story. What we are seeing about Jesus is He isn’t above coming and sitting with anyone who is willing to invite Him in and listen to Him. He comes in, dwells with, and loves those He is with. Let the characters in these chapters that Jesus is hanging out with remind you that your life isn’t too messy for Jesus to step into. Invite Him into your messy day and life, I guarantee He’ll come in. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 612

“To what then shall I compare the people of this generation, and what are they like? They are like children sitting in the marketplace and calling to one another, “‘We played the flute for you, and you did not dance; we sang a dirge, and you did not weep.’” Luke 7:31-32 – The image here is a group of children shouting to another group of children. The simple message of the first group is “Come play and sing with us.” The response though of the second? Never coming over to the first group. This was to represent the message of John and Jesus when it came to the religious leaders of the day. John and Jesus were proclaiming God’s message and the religious leaders refused to “play and sing.” Today as I write this devotional, it is Easter and I can look out my office windows and the sun still hasn’t even risen yet this morning. I know that today all around the world will be messages given of “come and sing with us.” The message of dropping your old ways of life and coming into the new life of following Jesus. This is the heart of what I’m going to be preaching on today. My prayer then is that you come when called. However Jesus is calling you today, come. If it’s to drop some sin, if it’s to start a relationship with Him, if it’s to step into ministry, come to Jesus. For today Jesus is calling you to come. Our Jesus is risen from the dead and He is now calling you to follow Him. However then the Lord is calling you, lean into that call with Him for He is worthy of our following. Happy Resurrection Sunday! I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 2324

Chapter 8

And Jesus said, “Who was it that touched me?” When all denied it, Peter said, “Master, the crowds surround you and are pressing in on you!” But Jesus said, “Someone touched me, for I perceive that power has gone out from me.” Luke 8:45-46 – What amazes me about this story is not that the lady that touched Jesus was healed, but that all the other people who were pressing in on Him weren’t. This shows just a closeness to Jesus doesn’t equal His power being in our life. We have to come close by faith to Him, believing He is who He says He is and can do what He says He can do. This might be why often we leave church or leave a time of reading scripture feeling like we got nothing from it. It’s not because Jesus’ power wasn’t there, just maybe we didn’t come to Him in the right way. So next time you spend time with God, come with heart ready to receive rather than an attitude of obligation. As we can tell from our story, that change may very well be the difference maker to if you’re going to experience His power in your life today. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 613

When Jesus had stepped out on land, there met him a man from the city who had demons. For a long time he had worn no clothes, and he had not lived in a house but among the tombs. Luke 8:27 – Here we see Luke’s account of the Gerasene demoniac. One piece of information we get from Luke’s account is that the demoniac hadn’t worn clothes in a long time. What stands out to me with that being said of him was there was no covering for his sinfulness at this time. Think of Adam and Eve the moment sin became a part of their story. Prior their nakedness was nothing, they didn’t even think twice about it. Yet, when sin came into their story, their nakedness was shocking to them and one of the first things God did was create a covering for them out of animal skin. With the man in our passage, we too see Jesus creating a covering for him. For when he came to Jesus he was unclothed, yet as we see in verse 35, he is now sitting, in his right mind, and clothed. Whether it was Adam, or Eve, or the Gerasene demoniac, or even us, we all needed a covering our of sinfulness. Our sin had been brought out in the light and we were exposed before God. And as we looked at yesterday in our Easter sermon, Jesus provided a covering of our sin. We are no longer naked, exposed, and ashamed but are covered by Jesus. Take time today to dwell on this truth surrounding your sin. Because of what took place on Easter our sin is covered and we can sit at the feet of Jesus. Chapter 9

Comment which country you are from (state if in USA) to really prove today’s message. — Herod said, “John I beheaded, but who is this about whom I hear such things?” And he sought to see him. Luke 9:9 – You can never know just how far your message will go when you share it or who all will be listening when you do. A simple posting of a verse can be seen on the other side of the world and a conversation at work can be heard all the way into the back room. When you share the message of God’s love the reach can even get to those you never thought it would reach like in our passage today where the high up government officials began to hear and be interested in Jesus. So begin sharing the message in your unique way. One way for me is these Daily DEVOs, what’s a way for you to share God’s message today to begin the process of the message reaching even more people? I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac  – Daily DEVO 614

Now it happened that as he was praying alone, the disciples were with him. And he asked them, “Who do the crowds say that I am?” Luke 9:18 – On my first read of this verse, I was confused how Jesus was praying “alone” and the disciples were with Him. It didn’t make sense to me how someone could be alone yet with people. After some study, the word alone here means apart from the multitude of people. What this passage reminds us though is of something uniquely special to the Christian life. “Alone” changes for every believer once they accept Christ. Someone who is a believer is never truly alone anymore in the ways they were before following Jesus. For now they have the Holy Spirit of God within them and with them forever wherever they may go. They can never find themselves somewhere apart from the presence of their God. Also for those that follow Jesus they have the body of Christ, His church, always available to them. Maybe the church isn’t always physically present with us, but we have access to brothers and sisters in Christ, access to a family, anytime we choose. Of course we can choose to not lean in and not be close to our church family, but we can’t do anything about the truth that God has created that family and made it always available to us. What I hope then is seen from today’s devotion is how “alone” is so different for a believer than a non-believer in Jesus. We have the Spirit of God with us. We have the prayers and love of our brothers and sisters with us always. We may be physically by ourselves, but we are never truly alone as a follower of Jesus. Know then today if you are feeling that loneliness today, I am praying for you. You are not alone. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 2326

Chapter 10

But a Samaritan, as he journeyed, came to where he was, and when he saw him, he had compassion. Luke10:33 – Just love people. There will be people inside of your life that give you problems, that you don’t agree with, and that are different than you. None of those reasons though are good enough for us to stop demonstrating God love to people. The moment we choose to stop showing love to an individual for whatever reason we think is worthwhile, we stop fulfilling the calling that God gave us. We are called to love God and to love people and when we aren’t loving people we aren’t loving God. So today, whatever excuse or reason you have that you have held onto to stop showing love to somebody, now is your day to drop it. It no longer has a place inside your life and relationship with that person. Begin doing what God called you to do, love people. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 615

Then turning to the disciples he said privately, “Blessed are the eyes that see what you see! 24 For I tell you that many prophets and kings desired to see what you see, and did not see it, and to hear what you hear, and did not hear it.” Luke 10:23-24 – The disciples that Jesus had chosen to follow Him were certainly blessed by what they got to experience with Jesus. So many of the characters in the Old Testament would have loved to witness the things Jesus was doing and to be in the presence of the Savior like the disciples were at this time. What I also hope is seen is how truly blessed we are with what we’ve had the chance to witness and experience with Jesus. No, none of us got to walk around Jerusalem with Jesus like Peter or talk with Him like Matthew did, but don’t forget the blessing we have that even the disciples didn’t have. We have the fullness of the story of Jesus written down for us. We know how the church grew and withstood even the worst of persecution. They never got to see the fall of Rome, but for us Rome is just something in a history book. We have been blessed with so much to see to encourage and enlarge our faith in the Lord. For if the disciples could see what we see, any doubt of things to come would have been dropped by them. Be sure then you are dwelling on all that God has revealed when we are concerned over the things He hasn’t revealed yet. He’s shown Himself to be capable, dependable, trustworthy, and loving for generations and generations. See then what He is showing you and trust Him with the parts you can’t fully see yet. Chapter 11

And if Satan also is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? For you say that I cast out demons by Beelzebul. Luke 11:18 – This means that even the devil understands the value of unity within his group. Now exactly what that unity looks like and how it’s kept I don’t know, but Jesus says here that even the devil and his army knows fighting amongst each other isn’t going to get them anywhere. I wish our churches were that smart, or at least practiced more of what they knew. Because I know none of you are in a perfect church, hear today’s message clear. You will never move forward fighting against each other. While you can’t stop others, you can stop yourself. Take the first step and you choose to drop your weapons and you choose to stop fighting against your church family. Only then will your church be able to move in the direction God wants it to. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 616

While Jesus was speaking, a Pharisee asked him to dine with him, so he went in and reclined at table. Luke 11:37 – Jesus was invited to eat with a Pharisee and He accepted the invitation. Now we know Jesus and many of the Pharisees did not always have the best of interactions during Jesus’ ministry. Just read the following verses to know what I mean by that! What is interesting about this though is that despite the rough relationship with the Pharisees and despite knowing what was going to take place that evening, Jesus accepted the invitation. We see this to be true of Jesus in other areas of scripture, whether it’s a wedding feast in Cana or other gatherings, that when He was invited He came. Allow this truth about Jesus to find its way into your relationship with Him. Jesus comes where He is invited. If you invite Him into your life, He will come into your life. If you invite Him into the struggle you’re having with your spouse, or your worry over finances, or your family tension, He will come into those places. If you invite Him to walk with you through your day today or to be with you in this decision-making process, He will come where He is invited. Just keep this in mind, Jesus would most likely of not found Himself at that Pharisees’ dinner table that evening if it wasn’t for the invitation made to Him. While God is everywhere at all times, God is desiring our invitation. He wants us to want His hand and Spirit at work within our story. If then you desire God’s power, peace, and provision within the happenings of your story, invite Him today to be a part of those happenings. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 2328

Chapter 12

And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? If then you are not able to do as small a thing as that, why are you anxious about the rest? Luke 12:25-26 – It’s a good question isn’t it. If our worrying can’t even add a single moment more to our situation why do we fall so easily into worry so often? We worry about everything. Yet worrying about money won’t get you anymore money, worrying about a future relationship won’t bring that person any closer, and worrying about your life isn’t going to change anything either. Worry will only get you where you don’t want to be, let’s choose to trust that God is able to handle and change all the things we can’t. Trust He knows what He’s doing and has a plan. Today, try your best to stop worrying and just trust God. It may just be the best decision you make today. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 617

Blessed are those servants whom the master finds awake when he comes. Truly, I say to you, he will dress himself for service and have them recline at table, and he will come and serve them. 38 If he comes in the second watch, or in the third, and finds them awake, blessed are those servants! Luke 12:37-38 – The message is pretty clear here from Jesus on how He wants to find His servants when He returns…ready. Ready and waiting for Him. No, not standing staring into the clouds. Nor is Jesus wanting His followers to be found existing in sin when He returns because they believe they have all the time in the world. The truth is no one but the Father knows when Jesus will return. So when should we begin getting ready for Jesus’ return and actively carrying out His mission? Yesterday! Or simply we should have already started, for Jesus could return at any time. How then are you serving the Lord today and how are you carrying out the great commission? Would Jesus find you ready for Him? My heart for my own walk is that if the Lord was to return today He would find me as a servant who is awake. Not one who turned to sinfulness and selfishness, but one who waited patiently for Him and never let up on the work even though His return was later than I thought. I pray this is your heart as well and I pray the Lord will find us ready when He returns. Until that wonderful day though, let’s be sharing His gospel message to whoever, whenever, however we can! Chapter 13

No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish. Luke 13:5 – It’s so easy for us to judge and condemn those whose sin is plain to see, especially those who have labels plastered on them like criminal, offender, or bully. We must remember though like Jesus spoke in this verse, we too have to repent and turn from our sins just like we are telling others to do. We aren’t above anyone, we just sin differently than they do. Remember all sin leads us to eternal separation from God so today if you haven’t accepted His forgiveness, know it’s available to you and you need it. And if you have accepted His forgiveness and love, be sure you’re sharing it with all types of sinners, even those who sin differently than you. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 618

Then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in your presence, and you taught in our streets.’ 27 But he will say, ‘I tell you, I do not know where you come from. Depart from me, all you workers of evil!’ Luke 13:26-37 – Hearing this said from the mouth of our Lord should provoke any and all to look deeply within themselves and ask if they have ever truly chosen to follow Jesus. What we see being told to us through this chapter is that any who choose to repent of their sin and follow Jesus can. Yet many will wait too long and the door will be shut to them. What’s too long? Waiting till this earthly life is over to make your choice to repent and follow Jesus. Once death comes, the door is shut. If you have placed your faith in Jesus during your life time, you are welcomed into the house of the Lord. Yet if you chose to wait, banking of “later” to repent and follow Jesus, and your death comes sooner than later, the door is shut. You can bang on the door, share how you came to church often and read your Bible a lot, but the words you’ll hear from the other side of the door are the words no one wants to hear from the Lord…I never knew you. Today then, do you have a relationship with Jesus? If you are not a follower of Jesus, make the choice today to turn away from your sin and turn to Jesus. Later may not be an option for you and my heart longs for the promise of Heaven in your story. If you have any questions on how to follow Jesus, reach out. Chapter 14

He said also to the man who had invited him, “When you give a dinner or a banquet, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors, lest they also invite you in return and you be repaid. But when you give a feast, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you. For you will be repaid at the resurrection of the just.” Luke 14:12-14 – What if this was how we invited people to church. Where we didn’t just ask our friends and family, but we asked those very different than us to come. You know the people at school and work that we try to avoid any conversations with. What if we actually invited them into the church family we are apart of. Sure if they came things would be different, but maybe church would begin looking more like a place for the broken to find healing than a country club for “good” people. Let that message sink in and do with it however God leads you. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 619

And the master said to the servant, ‘Go out to the highways and hedges and compel people to come in, that my house may be filled. Luke 14:23 – A humbling thought for me today is that this final group is the one I would have found myself in. I wouldn’t have been a part of the Jewish community, meaning I would have been one of those far away on the highways and hedges. Yet, despite everything that should have keep me from the Master’s table, I was not only invited but compelled to come and eat. I was welcomed in, sat down at the Master’s table, and was able to enjoy blessings I had no hand in preparing. As we move throughout our Sunday, let’s keep this in our minds today. We should have been out on the highway. We were away from the Lord, turning to the paths of our sin. We had no right to come onto the Lord’s property, let alone sit at His table and eat His food. Our story though is that we have been invited to His table and any who choose to follow Him aren’t just eating there as guests in His home, they are adopted into His family as children. We truly are blessed today. We can sit at the Lord’s table as His children and can enjoy His blessings freely. Knowing this, let’s enjoy this meal. Let’s live without fear of going without because we have the Lord’s abundance in front of us and we have His ear listening to our voice. Let’s share freely what we are given to others who haven’t yet tasted the blessing of the Lord. We have been brought into the Father’s house, seated at His table, and welcomed into His arms. We are truly blessed. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 2331

Chapter 15

I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Treat me as one of your hired servants. Luke 15:19 – Our sin doesn’t get in the way of our chance of sonship. It’s easy to think our sin is too great for us to come to God. Maybe we tell ourselves that or maybe you’ve come across some misguided Christians who have told you you’re too messed up for God. Rather than listening to them, or yourself, hear what scripture says. This guy really messed up his life, came back home, and found a loving, forgiving father who welcomed back as a son. Know God is even more loving than the father in the story. Your past doesn’t close off the path for you to come to God. If you want His forgiveness, it is always available to you and always will be. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 620

And he said to him, ‘Son, you are always with me, and all that is mine is yours. 32 It was fitting to celebrate and be glad, for this your brother was dead, and is alive; he was lost, and is found.’” Luke 15:31-32 – These two verses come at the end of the parable of the prodigal son. The older brother, the one who stayed serving the father all these years, is frustrated that his reckless brother is getting such a celebration when he had been with the father this whole time and never got anything like this done for him. One takeaway from this passage is that we check our heart over how we feel about people coming into a relationship with God the Father. We should rejoice when any who were dead and lost come to the Father. That includes the people that have hurt us, abandoned us, are different than us, and in our minds are “undeserving” of grace and forgiveness. Rather than be bitter when such an individual comes to the Father, let’s rejoice. A second takeaway is let’s remember that our inheritance doesn’t change just because “little brother” came back home. When another person places their faith in Jesus, your inheritance of life, Heaven, and relationship with the Father doesn’t change. It’s not having to be split once again because now there is another believer in Jesus in the picture. All the Father can give is given to us as His children. So yes, rejoice when they follow Jesus. They may have hurt you deeply, but them stepping into the salvation of Jesus should be what our heart longs for regardless of our history with them. Be praying right now that your heart would always be one to celebrate salvation. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 2332

Chapter 16

He said to him, “If they do not hear Moses and the Prophets, neither will they be convinced if someone should rise from the dead.” Luke 16:31 – Interesting. Jesus is saying that the stories of Moses and the Prophets point out enough in themselves to the trueness of the Gospel. Often people today say if they got to see all that Jesus did and see Him raised from the dead like the people back then they’d believe as well. Yet, they haven’t seen all that so they choose not to believe. What Jesus is saying here to the people who did see all that Jesus did, was that they already had enough proof that God was real and we should follow Him just by the stories of the past. They didn’t need the miracles and such to prove anything. Now though for us we even have that as proof. We have the stories of Moses, the Prophets, and now Jesus as well as proof. It’s now our choice to believe it all or not. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 621

And I tell you, make friends for yourselves by means of unrighteous wealth, so that when it fails they may receive you into the eternal dwellings. Luke 16:9 – This is an odd parable to be heard from Jesus and it’s so different than many of the other parables we hear from Him. We have a master about to fire a manager, and in the last moments that the manager has access to the master’s wealth he uses it to make sure he is covered for the future. Know Jesus isn’t here saying we should be dishonest or use wealth in ungodly ways. He’s revealing here how well those of the world use the possessions they have to further their future and how beautiful it would be for those who do believe in God to do the same. Jesus here is desiring those who have access to the storehouses of Heaven and the blessings of God to be smart and use such resources. Use for worldly gain or ungodly futures? Not at all, but to further His kingdom. Jesus wants us to be smart with what He has given us. We have been blessed with so much as children of God; instead of just wasting these blessings we are called us be creative and wise with how we use them to further the kingdom. If believers were as wise with God’s provisions as unbelievers can be with worldly possessions, how much further would the message of the gospel be in our world! I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 2333

Chapter 17

And he said to his disciples, “Temptations to sin are sure to come, but woe to the one through whom they come!” Luke 17:1 – This passage is comforting and scary all at the same time. Comforting because Jesus says to expect temptations. That if you were worried you were doing something wrong because there are temptations around you can stop worrying because temptations are going to come. Scary because of the seriousness Jesus has about us being the tempter in someone’s life. Be sure that you are constantly checking yourself that you aren’t causing someone to stumble. We should care that we don’t cause our church family to fall into things like bitterness, lust, or envy. Be aware of what you say and how you act. You can either be a part of someone overcoming sin in their life or the one introducing it to their life. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 622

Does he thank the servant because he did what was commanded? Luke 17:9 – Jesus speaks of a servant who does the tasks given to him by his master, then that evening comes into the house after a long day of work. Jesus purposes a question, does the master invite him to the table and thank him for the hard work that he had done? The answer to His question would have been no because Jesus was proving a point. The servant was doing what was told to him to be done by his master. No special thanks or acknowledgment was expected by the servant because he was serving as commanded to serve. How we should apply this to our story is our posture for serving shouldn’t be one to receive something from the Lord. Whether than might be an answer to our prayers, and acknowledgement from Him, or even forgiveness of a sin, our following the commands given to us by God shouldn’t be followed to receive something in return. We follow because we’ve been commanded by our Lord to follow. We could follow the commands of the Lord for the rest of our eternity and never receive anything else from the Lord, and God would still be worthy of our following. Thankfully we have a God who does bless and does provide and does invite us to His table. Let’s just not think it’s a result of our serving that has earned us any of that. We serve because God has been good to us and saved us. We can count of future goodness from God being shown to us, but it’s going to come out of His love for us, not out of an obligation to repay us for our faithfulness to Him. Let’s serve then from a position of gratitude, not expectation for reward. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 2334

Chapter 18

And immediately he recovered his sight and followed him, glorifying God. And all the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God. Luke 18:43 – When you begin to think God isn’t blessing you, remember the things we often take for granted are the very things others are praying for. Like with sight here in our story. All the blind man wanted was to see and he received that and began following Jesus. What we also read from this verse is many others saw this done. Meaning they very thing the blind man was crying out for, sight, was something these other people just had and took for granted. Gaining sight was the blind man’s turning point to follow Jesus, but how many of us who have the blessing of sight already still don’t see Jesus like this blind man? Today, remember what Jesus has already blessed you with. Maybe He’s said no or wait when it comes to somethings you’ve been praying for, but that doesn’t mean He’s forgotten you. The current blessings in your life are proof of that. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 623

And Jesus stopped and commanded him to be brought to him. And when he came near, he asked him, 41 “What do you want me to do for you?” He said, “Lord, let me recover my sight.” 42 And Jesus said to him, “Recover your sight; your faith has made you well.” Luke 18:40-42 – Awhile back I read this story and I noticed something I hadn’t seen in prior read throughs. A blind man is asking Jesus for healing and Jesus commanded that the blind man be brought to Him. After some conversation with the blind man, Jesus heals him and he is no longer blind. What’s beautiful is the healing, but what’s also beautiful is the faith of the blind man. Not only did he have faith in Jesus without seeing anything He had done, he was willing to follow the commands of Jesus before he was healed. Note that when he listened to the command of Jesus to come, the blind man was still blind at this time. Meaning he listened, obeyed, and followed Jesus before Jesus had worked healing into his story. I pray this is our story too. That we are willing to listen, obey, and follow Jesus even when we haven’t received yet from Him what we are asking to receive. That our following of Jesus isn’t based off of whether we’ve gotten our prayers answered recently or if God has moved how we asked Him to. That we are choosing to listen, obey, and follow in the times of blessing and even the times of drought. Trust that our God is good, even if you can’t see the blessing yet. The man in our story sure didn’t see the blessing, but after following Jesus he sure did. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 2335

Chapter 19

And some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to him, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples.” Luke 19:39 – The very people that should have been leading the crowd in worship of Jesus were the ones telling Jesus to shut down the praises the crowds were giving Him. Meaning for us today that there will be people in our Christian community that will not only be missing their purpose but maybe doing very destructive, very opposite things than their purpose. Does that give us an excuse though to do the opposite of our purpose? No, in fact it should push us to fulfill our purpose all the more. Make sure that you are continuing to love God and love the people around you, even when those around you may not be. Never drop your purpose because someone else has. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 624

And Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, “Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor. And if I have defrauded anyone of anything, I restore it fourfold.” And Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, since he also is a son of Abraham. 10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” Luke 19:8-10 – Salvation had come to the house of Zacchaeus. This meant that salvation had come to the house of a rich man. Looking back at the chapter we read yesterday we see Jesus speak about how difficult it would be for a rich man to enter into His kingdom. That it would be easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God. What we see though in chapter 19 is a rich man entering into His kingdom. Difficult, but not impossible, especially when God is in the mix. Yes it took a massive sacrifice and a massive life change for Zacchaeus, but he saw Jesus as worth the sacrifice and change and as a result received the blessing of salvation. Let’s not find ourselves in the position of the Pharisees labeling someone “unable” to step into the salvation of Jesus because of their life choices. Their current story may be full of sin and full of rejection of God, but with God all things are possible. Instead of placing them in the box of hopeless-to-share-the-Gospel-with, see the truth that even the hardest of hearts God can change. Even if the chance is wee-little (get it…Zacchaeus…), God can change their heart into a passionate follower of Him. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 2336

Chapter 20

For they no longer dared to ask him any question. Luke 20:40 – Why would they be too scared to ask anymore questions? Because if you ask too many questions you may get an answer you didn’t want. An answer that challenges your way of life. An answer that even provokes you to change something about yourself. When it comes to God, don’t be afraid to ask questions. The answers may challenge you and lead you to change, but they’ll always lead you into a deeper knowledge of God and His plan for you. So never be afraid to ask a question about your faith. Learn everything you can about God and this faith of yours. He wants to be known by you, just be open to the answers you get. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 625

Then the owner of the vineyard said, ‘What shall I do? I will send my beloved son; perhaps they will respect him.’ Luke 20:13 – While those hearing this parable didn’t grasp all that was being shared with them that day, we who know the story of Jesus do. The owner, God, has sent His Son, Jesus. That Jesus came to find the earth well-kept and ready for Him to take with Him His choice fruit. Instead He found rejection and death, just like the son in the parable. While none today alive were there at this first coming, understand Jesus is coming again. In previous chapters we see He is looking for a people ready for Him and serving Him like there is no tomorrow. Be found ready. Let’s be a people that is longing for the Son’s coming and is ready to welcome Him. What that looks like for us is to be found faithfully serving and pursuing Jesus today and every day. Praying, reading scripture, sharing the Gospel, loving your neighbor, serving with your gifts. Be found doing the things scripture has called us to be doing for this is how you will be found ready when the Son returns. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 2337

Chapter 21

And he said, “See that you are not led astray. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he!’ and, ‘The time is at hand!’ Do not go after them. And when you hear of wars and tumults, do not be terrified, for these things must first take place, but the end will not be at once. Luke 21:8-9 – Ooo, I love what I got to read today because it hits home with so many questions you keep asking me about. You know all those verses you keep pulling out about rumors of wars, the sun and stars doing weird things, and the floods and all pointing to the end times? Yeah this passage is right in the middle of that. And it says with all of it don’t be terrified, you don’t have to freak out over all of it. What it does say in a few verses later is that as all this unfolds, this is your time to bear witness, to share the love of Jesus with others. So it’s choice making time. Will you stay terrified or listen to Jesus, trust what He says, and take whatever comes as your opportunity to share about His love? Just know, I love your questions, let just make sure when we get the answer we choose to follow it. Have a great day guys, praying for you. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac

This will be your opportunity to bear witness. Luke 21:13 – This will be our chance to stand up and share the good news of Jesus huh? Then the verses before this must have said things like “When everybody likes you then….” or “When you feel totally comfortable then…”  If you read the verses before v.13 you know though that’s not at all what it said. It said things like when people persecute you and throw you in prison then…this will will be your opportunity to share the good news. Make sure you don’t let the pushback you get from people push you away from sharing the good news. Jesus warns us that pushback will happen yet also assured us that He will take care of us in all ways through it all. Trust Him and don’t back down when you’ve been given and opportunity to share even if the opportunity is different than you expected.  I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 626

This will be your opportunity to bear witness. Luke 21:13 – This is will be their chance to share what they have seen, heard, and experienced of Jesus with others. Now without having the other verses here with us it’s hard to know what this “witnessing opportunity” is going to be. Maybe God will just bring flocks of unbelievers to our doorstep and they will quietly listen to the full gospel as we speak it to them and they will all turn to follow Jesus! God for sure can do that and I would love every witnessing opportunity to be that peaceful. The opportunity that is being talked about by Jesus though isn’t one as peaceful. Jesus shares with His followers how persecution is going to come their way. They are going to be handed over to prison and kings, even by their own loved ones. They are going to find themselves on trial for Jesus’ sake. This then is the setting Jesus says is their opportunity to witness, to share the good news of the gospel. Sometimes our opportunities to share the Gospel will be in settings of peace, yet other times we may find ourselves in settings of discomfort and even fear. What we though are being taught by Jesus is each can be opportunities to share His message of salvation in. Share the gospel when life is easy and share the gospel when life is hard. Maybe the ears that need to hear the gospel are at your doorstep and maybe they are in a prison cell, either way our calling is to share the Gospel with them. Don’t let discomfort dissuade you from sharing with others the beauty of the Gospel. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 2338

Chapter 22

And he said to them, “When I sent you out with no moneybag or knapsack or sandals, did you lack anything?” They said, “Nothing.” Luke 22:35 – Focusing too long on the past can really mess with our ability to live well for God in the present. Yet, a little look back can go a long ways. Taking a moment to see how God has taken care of you over and over again in the past can be such an encouragement to trust Him deeper in the struggle you are facing today. Don’t allow yourself to camp out in the past, but a little visit to remind you how faithful your God is to you can be that motivation to follow Him that you’ve been praying for. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac

He said to them, “Behold, when you have entered the city, a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him into the house that he enters and tell the master of the house, ‘The Teacher says to you, Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?’ And he will show you a large upper room furnished; prepare it there.” And they went and found it just as he had told them, and they prepared the Passover. Luke22:10-13 – Check out the whole passage to really get what’s going on, but it’s so clear here how Jesus just knew everything that the disciples needed to know and knew clearly how to lead them. Same goes for you. Sometimes we can get so confused in life, what job to do, who to call our bae (if that word is used anymore), or what to do next in our life. But what I see here in scripture is if we listen to Jesus, He knows what’s ahead, knows how to direct us, and has actually been preparing everything for us in advance. Let’s just begin to trust Him more rather than worry so much about our next step. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac

And when he came to the place, he said to them, “Pray that you may not enter into temptation.” Luke 22:40 – Jesus here is giving us the means to how to overcome the temptations in our life. On how to not keep falling into the same traps we seem to always fall into. Jesus says to pray about it. Don’t blow that off as just too simple, this is your only way of overcoming the temptations in your life. You know you’re not strong enough to always say no to temptations. That’s why you’ve found yourself many times back in that trap again. Jesus is sharing the strength we need in life against temptation is not from us but from God. So, pray to God and ask for help with the temptations that arise in your story. God is your means of never falling into those temptations ever again, nothing else will do that for you. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 627

And he withdrew from them about a stone’s throw, and knelt down and prayed, 42 saying, “Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.” Luke 22:41-42 – We are about to step into Luke’s account of the crucifixion and we get a glimpse of Jesus’ heart prior to the horrific events that were about to take place. Jesus prays to the Father to “remove this cup from me.” We must understand this is not Jesus changing His mind about His love for us or His desire for the world to have forgiveness and salvation. He is asking the Father here if there was any other way than the pain that He knew He was about to go through that salvation and life could be bought for the world. Nevertheless, Jesus was willing to go through it all for us and for the Father. Where my heart settles with a passage like this is if Jesus was willing to follow the Father like this, however we then are directed by God we should follow. What we are going to be asked of the Father may be heavy and may be heard. We may be asked to leave a path we love or step into a season we know is going to be challenging. We may be asked to sit in discomfort a little longer and we may be asked to get up from a place of comfort. What we see through the story of Jesus is that however the Father may direct us, we should follow and have confidence God will be faithful in making something beautiful out of our obedience. While that “beautiful” thing won’t be salvation for the world like with Jesus, it very well may be the opening of the doors for someone to finally hear about the salvation being offered to them by Jesus. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 2339

Chapter 23

Then Jesus, calling out with a loud voice, said, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!” And having said this he breathed his last. Luke 23:46 – You know today is a day of remembrance for our nation and its ironic that my passage today was the death of Jesus. It’s confusing why bad things happen like towers getting hit by airplanes, or Jesus being beat and crucified. But what I’ve seen in scripture and in life is that God can make something beautiful out of the worst of situations. Sometimes we see that beautiful thing, sometimes we don’t, but we should trust God knows what He’s doing. While we live in a sinful world and bad things happen, I know our God’s shoulders are big enough to handle it all and to handle us leaning on them too. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac

He released the man who had been thrown into prison for insurrection and murder, for whom they asked, but he delivered Jesus over to their will. Luke 23:25 – In the last chapter Jesus prays that familiar line, “Not my will, but yours, be done.” We see just how much God’s will is to bring life yet in our passage today how man’s will leads to death. Allow that fact to settle in your mind as you begin choosing which will to follow in your life. Is it your will and wants that are going to be what guides you or will you stop to listen and discover God’s will for you and follow that? You know the direction each will take you now, but you still have to choose one to follow. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac

Now there was a man named Joseph, from the Jewish town of Arimathea. He was a member of the council, a good and righteous man, who had not consented to their decision and action; and he was looking for the kingdom of God. Luke 23:50-51 -It said he was looking for the kingdom of God. I believe that’s the type of heart God desires all of us to have. One that doesn’t just go with the flow of everyone around us, even when the flow is strong and the voices very loud, but someone who through it all seeks the kingdom of God and what He is doing. Today seek the direction and work of God in your story over the voices of those who are leading you astray. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 628

And the people stood by, watching, but the rulers scoffed at him, saying, “He saved others; let him save himself, if he is the Christ of God, his Chosen One!” Luke 23:35 – Today’s chapter was Luke’s account of the crucifixion. While I have read this story many times and I know the full story of Easter, it’s still not an easy passage to read through. Our Savior died a painful death and did so for us. What the rulers said here was true, Jesus had saved others and as the Christ He could have easily come down from that cross. He could have had thousands of angels there attending to Him in a moment, healing His wounds and making a fool of the mocking rulers. Yet that’s not what Jesus did. He remained on the cross, died on the cross, and allowed all this to take place when He could have stopped it. Why? Because He wasn’t done saving. He knew this was the only way that all humanity – Jews, Greeks, slave, free, men, women, children, 1st century, 21st century – could find forgiveness of their sins and salvation of their souls. Let’s find ourselves then in a posture of gratitude today for the sacrifice Jesus made for us. We have life today because He gave up His for us. Chapter 24

You are witnesses of these things. Luke 24:48 – The disciples had the blessing of seeing everything that Jesus had done including His resurrection. Jesus commanded them to now go and share all that they had seen and experienced with everyone who would listen. We though have been witnesses to many mighty works of God as well. God has moved in your life or someone else’s life. You have seen scripture and how powerful it is. We have been witnesses of some amazing works of God. Now like the disciples it’s our turn to go and share what we have seen. Today, seek out an opportunity to share some of what you’ve seen God do with someone. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 629

Then he opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, 46 and said to them, “Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer and on the third day rise from the dead,47 and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem. 48 You are witnesses of these things. Luke 24:45-48 – As we wrap up the book of Luke today, Jesus Himself gives us the mission once again. He opens their eyes to scripture so that they can fully understand why everything they just saw Him go through had to happen. All this that He went through, and their being witness to it all, was to make a pathway for people to be able to repent of their sins and find forgiveness. Their role now was to start where they were at and begin the mission of the great commission. Today, we have finished reading the gospel of Luke. We have read the passages where we see Jesus heal the sick and give sight to the blind. We have read how Jesus has power of the storms and the enemy. We know the message of repentance and forgiveness of our sins. Now, because we have been witnesses to all this, it’s our time to share the good news. Beginning from where you are at today, begin the mission of the great commission. You have seen, heard, and felt God to be good, now it’s time to tell this to others. Does this mean you have to start knocking on doors of those in your city to have gospel conversations? You sure can do that, but there are far more ways to share the gospel. Use social media, send cards to people, invite someone to coffee or over for a game night. Find yourself in contact with people, then be intentional with that time with them. Jesus is coming soon, let’s make sure we are doing our part of sharing the good news of salvation with as many as we can. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 2341
