Psalm 30 – Pastor Mac Daily DEVO

O Lord my God, I cried to you for help, and you have healed me. Psalm 30:2 – Being a part of a church family means you are connected to a bunch of people’s lives. So when the seasons for illness comes around, you hear of so many that are feeling the effects of the illness. I’ve lost count of how many in our church body are dealing with some sort of virus right now. I also have multiple people in the hospital right now from my church family for various reasons. I know of few from our church family dealing with cancer. I know many from our church dealing with broken hearts. I know many from our church family are dealing with broken families. I know many are feeling simply broken themselves. Hear then the beautiful promise from this psalm, God can heal those who call upon Him. Here David is praising the Lord for the healing He had brought to David. We are unsure if the healing being praised for was due to physical or emotional brokenness, but whatever the damage was it was fully healed by the Lord. Know then today God can bring healing. He can heal the deepest wounds and clean out the most invasive infections. He can mend the most broken of hearts. Wherever and however you are needing healing, God can heal. Come today and call upon the Lord for healing. Be then patient and wait upon the Lord for that healing may not come immediately or even in the manner you hoped for, but we can be assured that the Lord will provide healing for His own. And even if the healing that is brought our way is Heaven, let us still find ourselves praising the Lord that He was able to remove the suffering and provide ultimate peace. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 2985

Question To Ponder: What is an example of healing the Lord has provided for you?
