Psalm 15 – Pastor Mac Daily DEVO

He who walks blamelessly and does what is right and speaks truth in his heart…Psalm‬ ‭15‬:‭2‬ ‭– This verse is the beginning of an answer to a question David proposed. David asked who was able to walk and stay with God in His holy place? For in David’s time, due to not being a priest himself, David was unable to enter into the Tent of Meeting where the ark was and actually be in the space where God met with people. David asked the question who then could ever find himself in the sacred space of God’s presence? Those whose walk is blameless, set apart from sinfulness altogether could. Those whose actions are focused on what is right in the Lord’s eyes and despised wickedness could. Those who words spoke the truth of God’s word because it was hidden in their heart could. Who can come into God’s presence? Only those whose life has been made holy by the one true God. Jesus Himself made this clear when He said He is the only way to be with the Father and only through Him can we find the salvation we need in order to walk with and dwell with God. Do you desire to abide with the Lord in His space? First commit your life to Jesus, then commit to the holy ways of living that scripture directs us to do. While clearly it’s impossible to be with the Father without Jesus, know it’s also impossible to dwell peacefully in the house of the Lord while actively pursuing sin. Turn from sin to the Lord and find your path drawing close to His tent. I love you, but Jesus loves you more – Mac – Daily DEVO 2970

Question To Ponder: What actions might some believers think are acceptable to continue in but in truth they are keeping them from abiding peacefully in the Lord’s house?
